Owner of Shake Down, The Perth based producer has been involved in the hip hop scene since the early 2000’s and has a discography spanning over a decade consisting of more than 90 projects.
In 2003, Shaker completed his diploma of Audio Engineering at SAE and has since worked on multiple projects receiving national radio play and rotation on independent and commercial stations alike.
Some of Rob’s accolades include winning ‘The Beat Down’ in 2012 which is the longest-running beat competition in the Southern hemisphere and winning the ‘Head of State WA’ award back-to-back in 2012 and 2013, and the ‘Best Ambassador’ in 2014. Shaker also took out ‘Best DJ 2013’ from OzHipHop.Com’s only national Australian hip-hop award and has performed live supporting some of the nations best MC’s on some of the largest stages.
Dazastah is an Australian producer and MC, most notably known as one of the MC’s of the Perth-based hip-hop group Downsyde.
Dazastah (aka Darren Reutens) joined Downsyde when he met MC’s Optamus (Scott Griffiths) and Dyna-mikes (Shahbaz Rind) at Leederville TAFE, the Central Institute of Technology in the late 90’s.
Dazastah is also a prolific producer, known for his MPC-infused low-slung hip-hop grooves. As well as the four studio albums he contributed to with Downsyde, Daz has produced for many notable Australian and International artists, such as Guru, Hunter, Clandestien, Layla, Pegz, Task Force, Matty B, Brad Strut, Hilltop Hoods, Drapht, Sever, Apathy, Grevis, Complete, Briggs, Funkoars and Mystro.
